Today saw me back on local turf at Worcester Market with Clive Roads and the team at McCartneys for the Blue Texel and Beltex sales.
It was a busy day, particularly a strong trade for the Blue Texels and the day was made even better by combining work commitments with a little shopping spree as a new little four legged Blue Texel lady from the Beili flock of Blue Texels was purchased on the day for my daughter’s Littlebrook flock.
Sale leader came from the Blue Texel ring in the form of a shearling ewe from Sara and Steve Gibbons, Whatmore Bamboo, which for 3500gns to Paul and Christine Tippets.
